Davide Paganelli is an Italian director based in Rome. He studied at a cinema-focused high school and later earned a degree from the European Institute of Design. His work focuses on analog photography, experimental video and independent cinema.

He has published photographic editorials in international magazines, including a cover for Vanguard Magazine in New York.

He has worked on several video projects — most recently the music video Maskara for the Italian band Ycon Ydol, shot on 16mm film and produced by Malombra Films. The video won at the Europe Music Video Awards and was nominated at the Toronto International Music Video Festival and the Tokyo International Short Film Festival. Other works include the video-art piece Verrà la Morte, shot on Super 8 film, and a new project currently in development with Toni Pandolfo, also filmed on 16mm.

He is currently working on the post-production of his new body horror short film NATA and on his first feature film.
